Eamon Kromka – Owner/Manager
Born and raised in Carteret County, Eamon has spent a lifetime in and around the marine and construction industries. He enjoys bringing vision and quality craftsmanship into every project, and is honored to be leading the Genesis Team. He has a beautiful family, and he loves our local area and its people.
In The Office
Kristie Ensley – Office Manager
Kristie was born and raised in Hampton Roads, Virginia. She spent the last 16 years in Elizabeth City, NC and relocated to the Crystal Coast when her life partner, Kathy received a job promotion. Kristie loves the outdoors and enjoys the beach, fishing, kayaking, and riding ATV’s. She has been in the healthcare industry for over 30 years and is excited to join the Genesis team and learn more about the construction industry.
Regan Burns – Designer
Regan was raised in the Raleigh area and stayed there for the start of her career. After driving to Pine Knoll Shores constantly to visit family Regan made the decision to move to carteret county. She enjoys modern architecture, painting and spending time with her nieces and nephews. Regan loves all aspects of design and is excited to assist Genesis’ customers in making houses feel like their home.
Jeremy Smith – Documentation Specialist
After growing up in Carteret County, Jeremy dedicated 20 years to working in the retail industry. While he appreciates the management and customer service skills he acquired in retail he is excited to bring these skills to the Genesis team and launching the new Storm Provision Program. Jeremy loves spending time with his family, surfing and anytime on the water. He is also potentially the Carolina Hurricane’s biggest fan– Go Canes!!
In The Field
Chadwick Lockey – Project Manager
Chadwick was born in Newport, NC, loves to shoot ducks, stab flounder, and love on people in Carteret County. He has spent over 10 years as a carpenter on custom Carolina Sportfishing yachts and is a licensed aircraft mechanic. The best part of his resume is marrying Carlie in 2009, building a home with her, and making her the ultimate hunting/fishing partner.
Mason Shady- Roofing Specialist
Mason was born in Morehead City, and is a graduate of Pitt Community College. He moved to Raleigh to work for a roofing company and is now excited to bring the knowledge that he learned to help people from my hometown. He is also a part time police officer for the Atlantic Beach Police Department. He enjoys fishing and going out on the boat with his friends.
William Adams – On-site Lead Carpenter
Will graduated from app state before relocating to Carteret County last October. He loves fishing, his wife Rachel, and their dog! Will has taken the role of lead carpenter head on and has done a great job leading our crew!
Ben Ansel – Carpenter
Ben was born and raised in Morehead City. He graduated from UNCW with degrees in Spanish and International Studies, and spent 2 years in Lima, Peru learning the language and culture. Ben is married to his amazing wife, Carlie, and has a lovely daughter, Alice and newborn son Nathaniel. He loves construction, craftsmanship, and is very grateful to be a part of the Genesis team.
Jason Tellers- Carpenter
Jason grew up in Minnesota. Went to college in Virginia and graduated with an electrical engineering degree. But better than that, he met his wife to be, Abby at school. Got married to Abby in May 2020 and moved to carteret county to be closer to her family in summer of 2021. Abby and Jason live in Newport with their new baby girl, two cats and Great Pyrenees puppy. Jason enjoys working with my hands and the creativity/challenge of working with new products every work day. He is always looking to learn something new, and appreciates the friendly atmosphere of working at Genesis.
